These two adorable baby squrrils were abandoned by their mother and left to starve. When they went to climb out of the nest in search for food they fell. Their bodies were too young and weak to be able to climb yet. I found them and took care of them, eventually giving them to a wildlife verternarian to take care of because she knew much more about squirrels than I did. One of them died the night I gave her to the wild life verternarian, but her sister survived. Now that little squirrel is living a happy life in the forest behind the wildlife veternarian's house.

very sweet story, most people would have let them die, thinking they are pests, but I would have done the same thing you did!

Thank you. I couldn't leave them to suffer. They were just so precious.

I have rescued birds and bunnies, stray cats and greyhounds, they are all soooo precious! Doesnt matter to me, as long as they have fur or feathers! lol I do draw the line at scales and more than four legs. Frogs and toads and salamanders are ok....so are butterflies and ladybugs...
ok, I'm done.

Heheh. I have also saved quite a few animals in need. I once had a bird that was scared and had been cornered by a cat hop right onto my hand. I brought it away from the cat and it flew away. I love all animals.

I would have done that, but I am in college and could not take care of it because you are not allowed to have animals in the dorms. Besides, I didn't know if there was anything wrong with them. Like I said, one of them died. The other still had to be treated with antibiotics, which I did not have. They were so cute though and even though I only took care of them for a short amount of time, I did get really attached and did not want to let go of them when we got to the home of the wildlife veternarian....
